Just wanted to post a quick note to wish you all the most wonderful of Easter weekends. My appointment at the doctor’s went well. He asked me to slowly begin to return to regular activities, not to overdo, and to use my common sense, which I will – if I can just find it!
I hope all of you have a little person to hunt Easter eggs with on Sunday. What fun to watch children running around, still dressed up after church, looking through the grass and bushes for those colored eggs. That image brings back such precious memories.
May God’s richest blessings be with you. I am so glad you are a part of my life. You have made this a very, very special year for me.
Love in Christ – Bree
He is not here: for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead; and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him: Behold, I have told you. So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet, and worshipped Him. Then said Jesus to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
Matthew 28: 6-10
And this is the promise that He has promised us – eternal life. 1 John 2:25
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” John 11:25-26
Now let the heavens be joyful,
Let earth her song begin:
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein;
Invisible and visible,
Their notes let all things blend,
For Christ the Lord is risen
Our joy that hath no end.
John of Damascus
