  18. Merry Christmas again. We have to drive to Grand Rapids this morning and back home. No snow forecast for GR, but 4 inches our place this afternoon. Looks like we’ll be driving in snow before we get home. Michigan in winter, always fun. Not -especially for old people like us, unless we can sit in the warm house and look at it through the window.

    • Safe travels, Lowell. Be careful out there!

      • We arrived back home at about 1:00 PM. The snow was just beginning so we only had snow from south of Charlotte to our house. Not enough to make the roads slippery. We were quite fortunate. It has been snowing all afternoon, but very lightly, so I don’t think it will be over 2 inches total by nightfall. Believe me, I am not complaining.
